1. Clinically stable hemodialysis patients
2. >18 Years of age

Exclusion Criteria

1. Clinically obvious malnutrition
2. Ongoing infection
3. Diabetes mellitus
4. Untreated congestive heart failure
5. Treatment with corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive agents
