Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.all patients of age group 18 â?? 70 years
- •2\.emergency laparotomy for modified RSI
- •3\.American society of anesthesiologistsâ?? clinical status I\- III
Exclusion Criteria
- •Cardiothoracic trauma
- •1\.Maxillofacial trauma
- •2\.preoxygenation goals not met i.e. spo2 \< 90%.
- •3\.Known mechanical airway obstruction.
- •Patient not consenting.
- •4\.American society of anesthesiologistâ??s clinical status IV.
- •5\.Anticipated difficult airway
