Inclusion Criteria
American Society of Anesthesiology physical status classification I and II, 19~64 aged, complicated pneumothorax (persistent air leak, hemothorax, failure to lung re-expansion, bilateral pneumothorax), visible blebs on computed tomography, or ipsilateral recurrent episodes
Exclusion Criteria
first attack without complications, suspected significant pleural adhesion on radiology, planned surgery for open thoracotomy, patient with an ASA physical status classification of 3 or 4, patients who refused to participate
