1. Patients with documented insufficiency of vitamin D less than 30 ng per ml but more than 20ng/mL
2.Participants should have the ability to understand the requirements of the study and are willing to abide by the study restrictions.
1. Pregnant and lactating women.
2. Patients with known hypersensitivity to sun exposure.
3. Known cases of hypothyroidism or any pathological condition that interferes with vitamin D absorption.
4.Patients on drugs effecting vitamin D metabolism (anticonvulsants for epileptic seizures and neuropathic pains, glucocorticoids for overactive immune system, ketoconazole for fungal infections, anti-retro viral drugs used in the treatment of HIV)
