Group of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CVS-group): sufferers from chronic fatigue syndrome with the diagnosis confirmed by an interne physician.
Group of Fibromyalgia Syndrome (FMS-group): sufferers from (primary) fibromyalgia syndrome with the diagnosis confirmed by a rheumatologist.
Group of healthy people: healthy people that have explicitly no fatigue or pain.
Having co-existent diseases such as diabetes, circulatory and respiratory diseases, hepatic, renal and adrenal diseases, polyneuropathy and myopathy, obesity. Using medication such as tranquilizers, anti-epileptics and morphine. Alcohol and drugs abuses. Using a wheelchair, orthoses for back, neck and dominant arm.
