Patients requiring extraction of upper first premolars for orthodontic treatment.
Patients without any systemic diseases or medications that affect tooth movement.
Patients with healthy periodontium and good oral hygiene.
Patients giving informed consent and volunteering to participate in the study.
Patients with history of long-term medication such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and hormone supplements, known to interfere with bone metabolism.
Patients with unilateral chewing or para functional habits, skeletal cross bite, or occlusal interferences.
Periodontally compromised patients with poor bone quality affecting orthodontic tooth movement.
Patients with impacted canines.
Patients with any craniofacial anomalies or temporomandibular disorders.
