Inclusion Criteria
ASA I and II, >18years of age patients, scheduled to undergo elective thyroidectomy under general anaesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
1. Suspected or confirmed extensive malignant disease.
2. Preoperative voice abnormalities.
3. Mallampatti grade III and IV
4. BMI >30kg/m2
5.Patients with limited neck extension
6. Previous neck surgeries
7. Patientâ??s refusal to participate in the study.
