Study Overview
Brief Summary
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) program and a Speed-Agility-Quickness (SAQ) training program in improving power, flexibility, and endurance among karate players. Eligible participants will be randomly allocated into two intervention groups: HIIT and SAQ. Both groups will undergo supervised training sessions for 6 weeks Outcome measures including power (vertical jump test and medicine ball throw test), flexibility (sit and reach test), and endurance (beep test) will be assessed at baseline and after completion of the intervention. The findings of this study may help identify the more effective training method for enhancing physical performance components essential for karate athletes
