Medically fit children with ASA I according to the American Society of Anesthesiologists Classification
-Children without any prior experience with the dental environment or treatment procedures
-Need of restorative treatment in any one carious tooth without pulp involvement.
-Children with special needs/learning difficulties or mental retardation
-Conditions requiring emergency dental treatment (abscess, draining sinus, cellulitis)
-Need for pharmacological management to cooperate
-Children whose behavior could be rated as definitely positive (++) or definitely negative (--) according to Wright’s modification of the Frankl behavior rating scale

Name Time Method -Baseline situational anxiety for children using Modified Child Dental Anxiety Scale- face version (MCDAS-f) and for parents using Modified Dental Anxiety Scale (MDAS) <br/ ><br> -Child’s behavior during examination using Frankl Behavior Rating Scale <br/ ><br>-Situational anxiety of the child using MCDAS-f scale after completion of treatment <br/ ><br>-Parent acceptance/perception of behavior by using a questionnaire after completion of treatmentTimepoint: Outcome will be assessed before starting the procedure, during the procedure and after the procedure at the same sitting. No follow-up is required
