1. FEV1/FVC < 70%
2. Moderate stage; 50% 3. Severe stage; 30% 4. Age 40 to 80 year old
5. Has a 10 pack-year smoking history
6. Good communication
1. Cardiovascular system contraindications for exercise and exercise testing
2. Long-term oxygen therapy or pulse oxygen saturation < 90% at rest
3. Clinical unstable and exacerbations, defined by increase in chronic inhaled therapy, within the last four weeks
4. Musculoskeletal pain or weakness that limit independent exercise
5. Cardiovascular disease e.g. coronary disease, anemia, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension
6. Neurological impairment e.g. poor balance and co-ordination, abnormal movement
7. Patients who have to use medicine that reduces heart rate (Beta 2-blocker, Diltiazem, Isoptin, etc.)
