We include healthy men and women between 18 and 30 years.
Participants are excluded if they suffer from current musculoskeletal pain in the shoulder girdle, elbows, back, lower extremity or from other nonspecific musculoskeletal disorders, e.g. fibromyalgia. There must not be any history of surgery in the back or legs and no other orthopaedic injury of the back or the lower extremity in the last twelve months. In addition, participants are excluded if they are pregnant, in the nursing period, diagnosed with any psychiatric, endocrine, neurological as well as metabolic disorder or take medication that affects perception or proprioception.
