I.Patients between 40-70 years of age.
II.Patients with the clinical features of Janu-Sandhigatavata.
III.Patients fit for Snehana and Swedana.
IV.Patients with radiological findings of Osteoarthritis based on grade 0 to 4 on Kellgren and Lawrence system of classification of Knee OA along with clinical features.VI.Chronicity less than 10 years
VII.Patient of either sex between age group of 40-70years having Sandhigat vata (osteoarthritis of Knee joint unilateral and bilateral) , fit for janu basti ? and willing to provide written informed consent.
I.Patient, suffering from any chronic debilitating disease like T.B., D.M., Gout, Varicose veins, Asthma & other chronic problems etc. and having other serious pathology.
II.Pregnant women.
III.Lactating women.
IV.Associated with simple or compound fractures.
V.Patients who have developed joint deformity.
VI.Patients who have under gone knee replacement surgery.
VII.No recent history of meniscal orother knee surgry(less than 6 months)
