Patients diagnosed with GAD attending Psychiatry OPD, RIMS, Imphal.
Mild and moderate GAD patients
Age: 18 to 60 years
Gender: Male and Female
Willing to give written consent for participation
Severe mental disorder
Suicidal risk
Patients with severe health problems (e.g., heart, back pain, not able to
stand and walk, parallelizes) and pregnant women
Patients having thyroid dysfunction
Patients with substance abuse or dependence
Physically unable to do Yoga or attend class
Currently doing Yoga
Illiterate

Name Time Method To analyse the case wise profile of each sample. <br/ ><br>To evaluate the effectiveness of Yoga in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder patients <br/ ><br>To compare the quality of life before & after the practice of Yoga amongst the GAD patients <br/ ><br>To compare the severity level of GAD patient with & without Yoga practice at the end of the intervention <br/ ><br>To find out the relationship between GAD & selected socio-demographic variables before & after the practices of Yoga <br/ ><br>To evaluate the correlation between GAD & QOL before & after the practices of Yoga of the study sampleTimepoint: Pre Post
