Inclusion Criteria

Diagnosis of IBS as per ROME IV Criteria.

Age group between18-45years.

Patients who did not practice yoga in the last 6 months.

Not enrolled in any other alternative medicine programs.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients having medical illness requiring priority management.

Patients with pre-existing Gastrointestinal disorders other than Functional Gastrointestinal Syndromes, patients with history of gastrointestinal surgery or abnormal upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy

Patients having chronic medical illness like hypertension, chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus.

Taking drugs producing GI symptoms or affecting GI motility.

Patient already receiving psychotropic medication.

Patients who are unable to participate in yogic session for any reason.
