Inclusion Criteria
Full term healthy infants, less than 3 months of postnatal age, either exclusive or partial breast fed, who will attend the immunization clinic for first DPT vaccination according to universal immunization programme.
Exclusion Criteria
1. All infants who have required hospital stay for more than 48 hrs
2. Perinatal asphyxia ( 5 mins apgar score less than 7) or delayed cry if born at home
3. IUGR wt less than 10th percentile for gestational age
4. Pre- term deliveries ( less than 37 weeks of gestation)
5. Previous surgery
