1.Patient scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III 3. Willing to give consent
1. Patients who are not willing to be enrolled in the study
2. Patients with ASA IV or higher
3. Patients with a history of ophthalmic surgery, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataract, retinal detachment
4. Patients with advanced stage lung disease
5. Patients with advanced stage cerebral disease
6. Obese patients with BMI >35kg/m2
7. Pregnant patients
8. Patients with head injury
9. Patients with intraoperative elevation in peak pressure
10. Duration of surgery exceeding 2 hours
11. Change in the surgical plan to open cholecystectomy
