  • •General anesthesia with indication for a laryngeal mask airway
  • •\- ASA I or II

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- ASA \> II
  • •\- BMI \> 30
  • •\- impossible informed consent
  • •\- Cardiopulmonary disease
  • •\- Patients with an increased risk of aspiration
  • •\- Other contraindications to the use of a laryngeal mask airway
  • •\- Pregnancy
  • •\- Participation in another interventional study
  • •\- Clinical necessity of intraoperative spontaneous breathing
