Inclusion Criteria

1. It meets the diagnosis criteria of ulcerative colitis in Western medicine;
2. The clinical types were initial type and chronic recurrence type;
3. It conforms to the diagnostic criteria of the syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction in traditional Chinese medicine;
4. Aged 18 to 65 years;
5. Willing to participate in the project and sign the informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

1. The type of lesion was acute fulmination;
2. Infectious colitis, such as intestinal tuberculosis, bacterial dysentery, etc.
3. Crohn's disease, radioactive enteritis, etc.;
4. Patients with intestinal perforation, intestinal obstruction, intestinal stenosis, cancer and other complications requiring surgical treatment;
5. Have serious heart, brain, liver, kidney and other medical system diseases;
6. People with drug abuse and mental disorders;
7. Women in lactation or pregnancy;
8. Allergic constitution or multiple drug ingredients;
9. Participating in other projects or poor compliance.
