Inclusion Criteria
This study is being done to evaluate a sensor system that can monitor and diagnose a condition called Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE). In this medical condition flow of oxygen to the brain is reduced and if undiagnosed, the child may die or survive with disabilities.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.Following scales will be administered on the neonate for classification of HIE ( Sarnat & Sarnat scale) <br/ ><br>2.The Neonate will be monitored by a device comprising of Near-Infra red Spectroscopy (NIRS) and Electro-encephalography (EEG) for 30-45 minutes at a stretch over 3-5 days (during the NICU stay) <br/ ><br>1.The following blood tests will be done: CBC, CRP, Cr, Electrolyte, ALP, Coagulation tests <br/ ><br>Timepoint: within 72 hours after admission <br/ ><br>
