Inclusion Criteria
Individuals aged 60 years and over.
Residents of the city of Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
Elderly people who participate in social groups in institutions served by the Food Bank.
Exclusion Criteria
Elderly people from groups who have already participated in food education activities of Banco de Alimentos Projects.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method % increase in the relative gain of knowledge in nutrition, assessed by the questionnaire developed by the authors based on topics of interest.;Decrease in the % of elderly people at risk of malnutrition and with malnutrition assessed by the Mini Nutritional Assessment.;Increase in the % of elderly people with adequate weight or eutrophic, assessed by the Body Mass Index - BMI (23 to 28) using the Classification of the PAN AMERICAN HEALTH ORGANIZATION, 2000 as a parameter.;Increase in % of seniors with healthy diet quality measured by the average of three 24-hour Recalls and ranked by the quality of seniors' diet adapted from the Healthy Eating Index: HEI-2015.;Decrease in the % of elderly people with an indicator to classify the risk for cardiovascular disease assessed by the value of waist circumference greater than 88 cm for women and 102 for men.
