Patients undergoing elective or urgent first time or re-do coronary artery bypass surgery.

Exclusion Criteria
Patients known for atrial fibrillation, unstable patients undergoing emergency operation, patients with renal and pulmonary dysfunction, insulin dependent diabetic patients and combined surgical procedure e.g. CABG and valve surgery.
