1)Term babies>= 37 weeks
2)Both gender
3)All normal vaginal deliveries and caesarean section
4)Birth weight>=2.5 kg
5) APGAR >7 at 1 min
1)EXCLUSION CRITERIA
CRITERIA FOR BABY
•Neonatal sepsis/ risk factors for sepsis
•Preterm babies <37 weeks
•ALL Isoimmunisation
•All congenital anomalies
•Instrumental delivery (forceps and vaccum)
•Birth asphyxia
•Respiratory distress
•Umbilical length <25cm or with true knot
•Vigorous and Non vigorous MSL
•Multiple births (twins/triplets)
•If due to any reason baby require resuscitation.
2)MATERNAL CRITERIA:
•Chorioamnionitis
•Multiple pregnancies.
