Inclusion criterion for patients: Primary diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder (ICD-10, F42.-) as assessed by the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-V Axis I Disorders
- German as native language
- Ability to provide written informed consent
- Current or lifetime diagnosis of a substance-related disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorder, delusional disorder, bipolar disorder, neurological disorder of the CNS
- Verbal IQ < 85
- Uncorrectable visual, auditory, or motor impairments
- Benzodiazepines within the last week, neuroleptics during the last three months
- Contraindications for transcranial direct current stimulation: any metal or electronic implants in the head or upper body (e.g., cochlear implant, brain stimulator, aneurysm clip or stent, cardiac pacemaker), skin disorder or skin condition at or near stimulation locations (e.g., psoriasis or eczema), pregnancy
