Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •For Study Participants:
- •Anaesthesia residents with 6\-12 months of training
- •For Patients undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia:
- •1\. ASA I/II
- •2\. 18\-60 years
- •3\. Surgery requiring arterial cannulation in elective surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •For Study Participants:
- •1\.Participant refusal
- •2\.Residents who are already trained in radial artery cannulation
- •3\.Residents who have done \>5 radial artery cannulations
- •For Patients:
- •1\.Patient refusal
- •2\.Abnormal modified Allenââ?¬•s test
- •3\.Peripheral vascular disease
- •4\.SBP \<90 mm of Hg
- •5\.BMI \>30 kg/cm2
