Inclusion Criteria

  • •1 Patients undergoing general anaesthesia and requiring arterial cannulation
  • •2 ASA status I, II or III
  • •3 Age 65 years or older

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1 Patientâ??s refusal to participate
  • •2 Hemodynamically unstable
  • •3 Allenâ??s test positive
  • •4 Hematoma or local site infection
  • •5 Known peripheral vascular disease or Raynaudâ??s phenomenon
