Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All Patients of either sex aged 18\- 60 years of ASA physical status I\-II undergoing elective thyroid surgery under general anesthes giving written informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Huge Goiter causing tracheal compression or dyspnea
  • •Derranged thyroid function test
  • •Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome
  • •Epilepsy or seizures
  • •Pregnancy and breast feeding
