This randomized controlled trial evaluated the effectiveness of Chlorhexidine gel, Hyaluronan gel, and Blue-M® gel as adjuncts to scaling and root planing (SRP) in the treatment of chronic periodontitis. Clinical parameters including Plaque Index, Gingival Index, Probing Pocket Depth, and Clinical Attachment Level were assessed at baseline and follow-up. All three groups showed significant clinical improvement, but Blue-M® gel demonstrated superior outcomes in reducing inflammation and pocket depth, likely due to its oxygen-releasing and healing properties. Chlorhexidine was effective but caused some side effects, while Hyaluronan promoted healing. Blue-M® gel proved to be the most effective adjunctive agent overall

入选标准
- •1 )Age between 25 -60 years.
- •2 )Systemically healthy patients with presence of bleeding on probing.
- •3 )Subjects with Stage II Grade A periodontitis having PPD 5mm or less than 5mm at atleast 4 site.
- •4 )Subjects who didn’t receive any periodontal treatment for past 6 months.
排除标准
- •Patients with any systemic condition or immunocompromised.
- •Smoking, pregnancy, lactation.
- •Known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of hyaluronan gel preparation and oxygen releasing formula.
