Inclusion Criteria

Individuals older than or equal to 25 years and less than 60 years; both sexes; low risk or intermediate cardiovascular risk characterized by the overall risk score; with overweight and obesity grade I according to the classification of the World Health Organization.

Exclusion Criteria

Individuals with high and very high cardiovascular risk, according to the Update of the Brazilian Dyslipidemias Directive and Prevention of Atherosclerosis; not have performed a lipid profile test in the last year; inability to ingest caffeine; infectious diseases active or treated in the last 30 days; neurological disease; type diabetes mellitus; familial dyslipidemia; smokers; hospitalization in the last 2 months; Renal insufficiency; hepatical cirrhosis; chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; coronary artery disease; cardiac insufficiency; atrial fibrillation; severe peripheral arterial insufficiency.
