1) the protocol of this study was fully explained and written informed consent was obtained from the participants
2) 20-65years of age
3) At least 3 of the following inclusion criteria
- serum triglyceride = 150 mg/dL
- HDL-Cholesterol = 40 mg/dL (M), 50 mg/dL (F)
- systolic blood pressure /diastolic blood Pressure = 135/85 mmHg
- fasting blood glucose = 100 mg/dL
- Waist = 90 cm (M), 80 cm (F)
1)vigorous exercise regulary
2)hormone therapy
3)changed wigh = 10% within 8 weeks prior to experiment or lossing weight
4)Smokers
5)BMI =35 kg/m2
6)having cardiovascular disease, heart failure, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular disease, atherosclerosis, diabetes disease,hyroid disease,gastric ulcer, gastric bleeding, acute infectious disease, malignant tumor, serious renal failure or hepatic disease, coagulopathy
7)use of medications
8)Cacao or maltose allergies
9)consumption of functional foods and/or dietary supplements, excessive flavanols or lactobacillus comsumption
10)Participated inanother clinical trial within 12 weeks prior to experiment
11)being or pregnant or lactating
12)any other disease that could affect the result of this study
