acute initial diagnosis of breast cancer
Exclusion Criteria
any kind of dementia
lifetime diagnosis of a major psychotic disorder

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Health related life satisfaction measured by self-rating questionnaire Short-Form-Health-Survey-12 (SF-12) particularly subscale mental health during oncological treatment over 40 weeks (T0-T11).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Additional questionnaires assessing general anxiety using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), somatic symptoms using the Somatic Symptoms Disorder – B Criteria Scale-12, depressive symptoms using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and impact of breast cancer treatment using FACT-B )Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy) at (T0), T2, T4, T6, T8-11.<br>Assessments T0, T4, T8 and T11 also include a questionnaire about the satisfaction with the treatment (Client Satisfaction Questionnaire, CSQ-8). <br>Pyschological support for breast cancer will be assessed three at times.
