1.Patient on mechanical ventilation >24hrs on Conventional Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (CIMV) & Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV) mode
2.Ramsay sedation scale between 4 and 6 levels
1.Intracranial hypertension >30 mmHg,
2.Pneumothorax
3.Hemodynamic instability (mean arterial pressure <80 mmHg) with use of high doses of vasoactive drugs (Dopamine and Dobutamine >5 μg/kg/min and Noradrenalin >0.5 μg/kg/min)
4.Rib fractures, unstable thorax, any severe chest deformity
