- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The aim of the study is to investigate the adaptation of staphylococci depending on habitat/lifestyle (asymptomatic in the nasal mucosa versus infectious on the skin). This will clarify whether there is a consistent gene expression pattern for colonization and infection and which virulence factors are activated on the skin.
