Inclusion Criteria

1.Mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome
2.Confirmed diagnosis by nerve conduction study

Exclusion Criteria

1.Allergy to 5%Dextrose-water or Triamcinolone acetonide
2.Thenar atrophy
3.Prior carpal tunnel decompressive surgery
4.Inflammatory joint disease
5.Diabetes mellitus
6.Thyroid disorder
7.Pregnancy
8.Cancer
9.Cervical radiculopathy
10.Thoracic outlet syndrome
11.Previous corticosteroid injection
12.Infection at injected area
