Inclusion Criteria
depression and/or anxiety disorder
Exclusion Criteria
- Severe learning disability
- Brain damage
- Profound developmental disorder
- Mental disorder resulting from a medical condition or substance use disorder
- Ineligibility for psychotherapy due to lack of language skills
- Diagnosed bipolar I and II disorders
- diagnosed schizophrenia
- Current severe drug or alcohol dependence (moderate or severe substance use disorder according to DSM-5; participation after six weeks of abstinence)
- acute suicidal tendency
- BMI below 18 or above 35
- pharmacotherapy/ medication
