Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy under the Division of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care in JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi.
  • •Patients of age \- 16 years to 65 years
  • •ASA 1 and 2 patients

Exclusion Criteria

  • •ASA 3,4, and 5
  • •Immunocompromised patients
  • •Patients requiring postoperative inotropes or ventilator supports
  • •Chronic liver disease patients
  • •Patients with coagulation disorders
  • •Patients on corticosteroids, insulin, anticoagulants
  • •Patients undergoing operations for solid organ injury
  • •Patients who will not consent
