Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients undergoing emergency laparotomy under the Division of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care in JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi.
- •Patients of age \- 16 years to 65 years
- •ASA 1 and 2 patients
Exclusion Criteria
- •ASA 3,4, and 5
- •Immunocompromised patients
- •Patients requiring postoperative inotropes or ventilator supports
- •Chronic liver disease patients
- •Patients with coagulation disorders
- •Patients on corticosteroids, insulin, anticoagulants
- •Patients undergoing operations for solid organ injury
- •Patients who will not consent
