1.Pregnant women scheduled for Mcdonald surgerry and cervical cerclage due to an incompetent cervix in the second trimester
2.All the patients were ASA(American Society of Anesthesiologists) physical status I or II.
1.Body weight(<50kg, or >100kg)
2.The patients with contraindications for spinal anesthesia, including coagulopathy, local skin infection and patient's refusal
3.Patients could not assume the lateral position for spinal anesthesia due to risk of amnionic membrane rupture
