Inclusion Criteria
Overweight and obese adults with BMI between 25 to 40
Suffering from Type 2 diabetes mellitus using oral medications
Suffering from hyperlipidemia using oral medications
Aged 20 to 60 years
Willingness of participating
Not using slimming medication for 3 months prior to the study
Absence of thyroid, kidney, liver or cardiovascular diseases
Absence of metabolic (except type 2 diabetes), endocrine or congenital disorders
Exclusion Criteria
Undergoing slimming, gastric bypass surgery
Participating in other clinical trials
Being pregnant or in lactation period
