Inclusion Criteria
1 Age 18 yrs or more
2 Patients undergoing major gastrointestinal surgeries in Tata Memorial Hospital
3 ASA score 1-3
Exclusion Criteria
1 Any patient under 18 yrs of age
2 Pregnant and lactating women
3 Patient unable to communicate for a mental reason
4 Patient receiving or scheduled to receive emetogenic anticancer drug from 6 days before study entry to 48 hr after anesthesia
5 Patient having GERD
