Inclusion Criteria
1.Age 18 yrs or more
2.Patients undergoing elective HPB (involving Pancreatic, Gall bladder, Stomach Liver and CRS +/-HIPEC) gastrointestinal surgery in Tata Memorial Hospital
3.ASA Class 1-3
Exclusion Criteria
1.Elective postoperative ventilation
2.Patients found to be inoperable after laparotomy
3.Patients with psychiatric illnesses/ patients on psychoactive drugs
4.Patient receiving or scheduled to receive emetogenic anticancer drug from 6 days before study entry to 48 hours after anesthesia
5.Pregnant and lactating women
