Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients with post\-polio syndrome diagnosed according to European Federation of the Neurological Societies (EFNS) guidelines (Farbu et al.,2006\) as diagnostic criteria.
  • 2\. Age of patients: 25\-80 years of any gender.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. All other treatable conditions causing muscle fatigue and/or wasting
  • 2\. Myopathies of any other origin
  • 3\. Any other motor neuron disorders
  • 4\. Psychiatric disorders
  • 5\. Pregnancy and lactation
  • 6\. History/ family history of seizures
  • 7\. Cardiac pacemaker or any ferromagnetic metallic implants close to target of stimulation area
  • 8\. Acute eczema/bed sore under target of stimulation area
  • 9\. Ventilator dependent and tracheostomy patients
