Patients aged between 18 and 30 years. No impairment of general health as per medical history (healthy). Normal physical examination. Patients who agree to participate in the study. Patients with indication for bilateral extraction of mandibular asymptomatic third molars. Third molars in class IIB position, according to the Pell & Gregory classification
History of use of any type of analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic medication in the 15 days prior to the beginning of the surgical procedure. History of hypersensitivity to drugs, substances or materials used in this experiment. Pregnancy or lactation. Pericoronitis or other local infection within 15 days prior to the surgical procedure. History of systemic disease, such as hypertension, diabetes, or diseases with high oxidative stress, such as favism, severe anemia. Shortest intervention time less than 75% of the time elapsed in the longest intervention
