Inclusion Criteria

1. BMI greater than or equal to 18.5 to less than 22.5 kg/m2

2.No family history of diabetes (first degree)

Exclusion Criteria

1. A known history of diabetes mellitus or the use of anti-hyperglycaemic drugs or insulin to treat diabetes and related conditions

2. Pregnant or lactating women

3. A major medical or surgical event requiring hospitalization within the preceding 3 months;

4. The presence of disease or drug(s) which influence digestion and absorption of nutrients; the use of steroids, protease inhibitors or antipsychotics (all of which have major effects on glucose metabolism and body fat distribution)

Primary Outcome Measures

To assess the Glycemic Index of prototype of <br/ ><br>developed food product - multi-millet extruded snackTimepoint: Standard glucose drink will be given <br/ ><br>and capillary blood samples will be performed every <br/ ><br>15minutes for the 1 st hour and every 30minutes over <br/ ><br>the second hour of testing. This is a total of eight <br/ ><br>pricks. Standard glucose drink will be given for 3 <br/ ><br>different days to get average glucose response and <br/ ><br>the test foods will be given on a different occasion <br/ ><br>between the 3 reference feeding days to evaluate its <br/ ><br>glucose response.
