Patients of ASA physical status 1 and 2. Patients able to comprehend and willing to participate. Patients scheduled for elective transurethral procedures.
Patientâ??s refusal to participate. Patients with known contraindication or sensitivity to study drugs. Patients on concomitant analgesic, sedative medication, or chronic use of an α-agonist. Patients with chronic renal insufficiency, liver dysfunction, psychiatric or emotional disorders, respiratory disorders, sleep apnea, second or third degree heart block.
