Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion criteria
- •1Clinical diagnosis of Children with Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and autism will be obtained from their medical records/ Disability card describing as mild, moderate level of disability.
- •2Whose parents have given consent to participate in the study.
- •3Children with Cerebral palsy, down syndrome and Autism between the age of 6\-15 yrs.
- •4willing to participate
- •Inclusion criteria for Caregiver/Caretaker selection
- •1Involved actively in care of the children with Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and Autism for more than 6 months
- •2Willing to participate
- •3Who can understand English, Kannada and Tulu language.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria
- •Children with Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and Autism with:
- •1Severe and profound degree of disability.
- •2On tube feeding, gastrostomy or any other artificial method of feeding.
- •3 Other comorbid conditions or chronic disease
- •4 History of allergy towards certain food items
- •5 Special treatment or on medication that would affect child’s appetite and body weight.
- •6 Subjected to any form of occupational therapies
- •Exclusion criteria for Caregiver/Caretaker selection: Primary caregivers who decline to participate in the study
