Inclusion Criteria
The study will include the Santhal tribal population of Hooghly district aged 18 years
and above, who are willing to participate.
Exclusion Criteria
Those who have been previously diagnosed with mental health conditions
Those who are seriously ill or incapacitated

Name Time Method The aim is to provide insight into the MHL levels within the Santhal community in West Bengal These measures will include evaluating participants knowledge of mental health concepts and attitudes towards mental health help seeking behavior and the cultural adaptation of mental health information <br/ ><br>The study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the mental health literacy levels within the Santhal communityTimepoint: 12 weeks from the commence of data collection
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method A report will be submitted to Tribal Development Department on their current awareness & perceptions related to mental health. This can serve as a foundation for fostering comprehensive & culturally sensitive mental health policies that address the well-being of the Santhal community.Timepoint: At the end of the study analysis in June <br/ ><br>6 months from commence of data collection
