Adult patients posted for laparoscopic gynecological surgeries
ASA physical status : 1 and 2
Age : 18 â?? 60 years
BMI : 18.5 â?? 35
Exclusion Criteria
History of HTN and uncontrolled DM
History of chronic pain

Name Time Method To compare the cumulative amount of fentanyl used for pain relief in first 6 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: To compare the cumulative amount of fentanyl used for pain relief in first 6 hours after extubation. <br/ ><br>
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To assess the postoperative pain scores using numerical rating scale at 2hours, 6hours, 12hours and 24hours after extubation. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>To find the total amount of intravenous fentanyl consumed by the patients at 12hours, 24hours postoperative periods. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Time to first use of rescue analgesic ie. intravenous fentanyl rescue analgesia after extubation. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>To find the incidences of postoperative nausea and vomiting episodes experienced by the patients in first 24hour postoperative period. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 24 hours
