Age between 18 to 75 years of age.
Patients with ASA grade I and II.
Mallampatti grade I and II.
Patients undergoing surgeries lasting for more than 30 minutes under general anaesthesia with tracheal intubation.
� Surgeries other than head and neck surgeries.
Patients staying at least for 24 hours after surgery.Ã?Â
Patients who provided informed consent.
Traumatic intubation more than 1 attempt
Patients on steroids either systemic or inhalational.
History of URI and immune deficiency states.
MPS >2
Chronic smokers.
Patients allergic to zinc
Pregnancy
Head and neck surgeries
