1. 18 years and older patients of either sex.
2. Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of
Shushkakshipaka.
3. Patients presenting with signs of MGD â??
a. Ocular dryness.
b. Lid margin thickening or irregularity.
c. Meibomian gland orifice plugging.
d. Cloudy, yellow or frothy meibomian gland secretions.
e. Lid margin telangiectasia.
f. Meibomian gland capping.
4. TBUT >5 seconds.
5. Schirmerâ??test >10mm
cases complicated with acute, chronic, infective conjunctivitis, any specific eyelid disorders, corneal ulcer, dacryocystitis and lagophthalmos
2. inflammatory diseases unrelated to M.G.D
3. Patient suffering from any systemic disorder or taking any medication which in the opinion of P.I. may affect the outcome of clinical trial
4. contact lenes users
5. history of ocular surgery within 6 months prior to enrollment in trial
6. patient suffering from Steven Jhonson Syndrome and Sjogren Syndrome
