- •\- Routine planned gastroscopy
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Diabetes
- •\- Acute or chronic upper gastrointestinal obstruction
- •\- Conditions with increased abdominal pressure (e.g. ascites)
- •\- Gastric acid blocker therapy
- •\- Cortison therapy
- •\- Patients who need a rapid sequence induction
