Patients admitted in the Department of Medicine with a suspected bacterial infection receiving antibiotic therapy
Hemodynamic instability persisting for more than 48 hours
Patients who continue to worsen after 72 hours of initial antibiotic therapy
Patients shifted to ICU/HDU
Presence of an abscess
Neutropenic patients/ or receiving steroids/ immunosuppressive agents/ PLHA/ hematological malignancy
Melioidosis, scrub typhus, Typhoid fever
Bacterial meningitis, septic arthritis, Infective endocarditis
Hospital acquired infection (fever starting 48 hours after hospitalisation) including CRBSI
Patients who are discharged within 5 days of hospitalisation
